Get notified about Open Opportunities
As you may know, I work with a Software Consultancy Firm called SVAM. Our company comes across a ton of open roles, some of which I share on various platforms from time to time. Since a lot of you asked for help finding work, I spoke with my company and they’ve agreed to help with this. All you need to do is to fill out your details on this Google Form here, and you will be added to the database. When we come across open roles, we will shoot you an email/call you to follow up. Your information will kept within the company, and will not be sold to any third parties.
Please note that you will be required to sign into a Google Account to upload your Resume.
NYC Meetups
As some of you may know, I’ve been thinking of creating an in-person meetup group in NYC. The goal was to introduce various people from our community to each other and create a space where people could come in and give talks about how they were able to solve challenges. In my opinion, specific stories about how specific stories solved specific challenges are more insightful than abstract discussions about ideas/theories. The meetups will be a space where all the amazing people from our cult can come in and share their experiences.
I have found some organizations willing to sponsor the meetups. This will help us a lot with the logistics, so I’m excited to act on this ASAP.
