Collectively we do not talk enough about modern day slavery. How is this not being questioned and discussed actively? And the fact that US and other countries that actively neglect this issue and keep doing their thing somehow put up a face that they are all for fairness, democracy, equality!!!??? , The part about how young children are exposed to violent and explicit content is heartbreaking. @devansh thanks for writing this - it's a brave and necessary move to write this out, knowing full well how many people from those companies and industries read your work.

Thank you. I feel like these angles are often underexplored in the space, especially from the more inside tech people like me to avoid getting too "political". However, turning away from this fixes nothing.

I've also had more than my fill of AI news, if I'm honest. It felt all-important at the beginning of this year, but now I'm all like, "I'll just wait a few weeks until everyone figures out what these tools can actually do."

But I enjoy this sort of outward looking post.

It’s only yesterday that Fritzl was let off the hook for 27 years for what he did. You can’t say the surveillance establishment didn’t know. So much for braveness when the village is protecting this abhorrent practice. No wonder ET is at an arms’ length from us.
